Remove a tax ID from your account

The portal.tax_ids.delete operation: DELETE /api/v1/portal/me/tax_ids/{taxIdId} in the REST API and the portal_tax_ids_delete tool in the MCP server.

DELETE/api/v1/portal/me/tax_ids/{taxIdId}

Removes one of the signed-in customer's tax IDs (by its id, the canonical number). Later purchases are taxed without it; issued invoices don't change. Emits customer.updated. Customer portal only (portal:write).
