# Get the open offer of ownership

> The ownership_transfers.get operation: GET /api/v1/ownership_transfers/current in the REST API and the ownership_transfers_get tool in the MCP server.

Returns the organization's open offer of ownership (`pending`), or null when there's none: who offered it, to
whom, and until when it can be accepted. Offers lapse after 7 days.
